We are investing in outdoor fitness equipment for installation beside our rink similar to those pictured below. They will be free to use and will serve to assist in the healtha nd well being of users. We have 4 units to be installed this summer, and we hope to be able to expand in the future.

PRESCHOOL FEES REDUCED

Alberta Children's services will be providing a per child subsidy for our Preschool Program which will enable us to reduce our fees to parents. Please see our Preschool page for new pricing effective for future months.

WALSH HALL GETS PAINT JOB

We decided to take advantage of the down time and paint our Walsh Hall including ceiling, kitchen and bar. We solicited bids from 5 different companies and decided on these guys (Moonlight Drips Painting Inc) because their price was good, and they are located in the northeast. They said that they wanted to support the community.
They did a super job, on time and with extras including our homemade door inserts that eliminate sound transfer between rooms. Great guys and easy to get a long with. They worked around our schedule and I am pleased to recommend them for any project. I know I plan to call them again.

HISTORY

On July 3, we had a special visitor join us for lunch. While we were handing out free lunches in the front of the building, a beautiful doe deer decided to have lunch in our Natural area on the southeast corner of our property. After grazing through our natural area, she decided to sit in the shade along side Terry Fox School.

Vending Machine
In addition to our existing soft drink machine, FCCA has decided to lease a snack vending machine. It contains a variety of chips, chocolate bars and assorted snacks. It has been popular so far and it is our hope that it will assist in fund-raising for FCCA .

PORTABLE PA SYSTEM

Our Yamaha Stagepass 400 is both portable and powerful. With easy to use and Bluetooth capabilities, it is ideal for our multi-function hall. It is available to rent along with our podium or by itself. Two microphones and stands come with the rental.
